Trudeau needs lessons on job creation, Trump is the man for the job

Since it’s good to be a ‘glass half full’ person, it’s probably best that we prepare ourselves for the inevitable. As in, Donald Trump winning the elections come November and becoming the next president of the US. There are folks who think that Trump’s a bad choice, saying he’s a businessman who should stick to it. But, Trump’s large business acumen could come in handy in the white house. Let’s see how Trump has fared in business over the years.

  1. Confidence

While there are those who say that Trump is arrogant and a narcissist, regardless of what they believe, its takes a very confident person to lead others, both in the cut throat world of business, and the back stabbing (ahem, Cruz) world of politics. Confidence is a critical part of business and politics, and Trump has a stockpile of it. Don’t just take our word for it, read the news hater!

  1. Decision Making

While on the surface it may appear to some that Trump is something of a loose cannon, there are many examples of Trump’s uncanny ability to make excellent business decisions, (along with a few bad ones. But you can’t win every time right?). Those who think that Trump is a risky bet because of his temperament to take on risks need to know that Trump is actually very conservative when it comes to decision making. A good example of this can be given of his approach to buying property. We see that in the past, Trump has only bought properties that tend to have less of a downside. But, running a business is all about taking chances and risks, sometimes they work and sometimes you need to go back to the drawing board. The good thing about Trump is that at least he’ll stick behind his decisions and see them through.

  1. Judging Talent

Most of you already know that Trump has an eye for talent. Why else would he have had a hit show on TV? Being able to judge talent is one of the factors that gives Trump the edge over his opponents. You’ll always find him with highly charged and highly talented young people, because that’s the kind of people you want to surround yourself with if you want to be a winner, otherwise, “You’re fired.” Whether it’s selecting an apprentice on a TV show, or finding high achievers to work in his campaign, Trump has by far the best pool of young talent in politics today. And the polls are proof of that.

  1. Setting Goals

The topic of goal setting has been done to death and there’s a raft of YouTube videos and articles on the internet. What we know is people who are driven set exceptionally high goals for themselves, which means that even if they fail, they still end up outperforming everybody else. Donald Trump is no different. He has high expectations of himself, and he’s a winner in business and as we can see, in politics as well. Setting high goals is why he has been able to achieve all that he has in life. What’s important is having a clear vision of what you want to accomplish in life. Like Trump says, “You have to think anyway, so why not think big?”
