The Elitists Continue to Ignore the Oppression of Christians

in Crime/Other News/World by

There is no doubt about it, the most oppressed faith on Earth is Christianity, and this is backed by studies conducted by the Center for Studies on New Religions, which shows that over 600 million Christians are stopped from practicing their faith on a daily basis. The study shows figures that state over 90,000 Christians were killed for practicing their religion last year.

However, you will never hear about Christian oppression on mainstream media, and there is a reason for that. The media ignores what happens to Christians, but will highlight anything that happens to Muslims, and it is this double standard that is proof of a political agenda. Religious discrimination should be condemned outright, and people should be free to practice whatever faith they choose, but the elites seem to think that when it comes to Christians the same rules don’t apply.

News about Christians being prosecuted and oppressed doesn’t cause as many shock waves, which is why the mainstream media tends to ignore it. They don’t regard the persecution of Christians in the same way that they would regard the persecution of people from other religious groups. This double standard is very dangerous, and will end up costing Christian lives, because political leaders don’t really want to help Christian people.

They want to be seen helping Muslim refugees from the Middle East, but at the same time have completely ignored the persecution of Christians in the Middle East. This is completely unacceptable, especially when 600 million people are stopped from practicing their Christian faith, with 90,000 killed for practicing their faith.

If we are expected to truly progress as a society, we must stand up for the rights of every religious group, and defend freedom. Every person should be free to practice their faith, and it is high time that the mainstream media starts reporting about the persecution of Christians who are suffering all over the world.
