A 15-year-old boy has been stabbed with serious but non-life threatening injuries at the St. Francis Xavier Secondary School in Mississauga.
Peel Regional Police responded to the call yesterday at 11 am, 3 unnamed students have been arrested.
“It is extremely rare to have one of these incidents occur in one of our schools and we strive to keep all our schools safe, healthy, secure and welcoming as possible,” Bruce Campbell, Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board spokesman, said. “Issues that take place in the community are bound to take place in the school — good or bad. Today is one of those unfortunate incidents that we are glad occur at a minimum.”
Police are still investigating and don’t know what triggered the stabbing.
