Over the past few months there have been a list of notable political endorsements for the Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump, some more notable than others who have voiced their support for the man who’s known for speaking his mind, but none have been more notable than Malik Obama. If you’re wondering why that name sounds familiar, well, that’s because Malik Obama is the half brother of President Barack Obama.

According to reports, Obama’s Kenyan half brother has endorsed Trump because he always speaks his mind and wants to make America great again. Malik Obama told a local newspaper that he supports Donald Trump because he is bringing something new and fresh to the game that people in the US, and indeed the world have not seen in a long time. And the guy may have a point. When was the last time US elections were being so closely watched, even though it is still months away.

Malik Obama ran for governor of the Kenyan town of Siaya in 2013, but was disappointed after Barack Obama refused to contribute to his brother’s campaign, which left Malik no choice but to spend $20,000 of his own money in a failed attempt. Obama also does not support President Obama’s stance on Hillary’s email scandal, and the Democrats stance on same sex marriage, which he claims is one of the reasons why he supports Donald Trump in the first place. While talking to the reporter, Malik Obama also mentioned about the killing of Moammar Gaddafi, the Libyan leader who was also his best friend. According to the man, the killing of Gaddafi didn’t make any sense and certainly did not make things any better in Libya, which can be seen ever since the leader was killed. Malik Obama is planning to travel to Maryland to vote for Trump since he’s a registered voter. We wonder what the President thinks of this?
