Liberal Government Refuses to Ask Or Hold Harjit Sajjan Responsible for Why He Lied

in Canada by

Harjit Sajjan has been spinning a lie for 2 years, regarding his role in Operation Medusa, which was NATO’s biggest head-on batter in the Afghan War. Sajjan has been claiming since, 2015 that he was the ‘architect’ of that operation, knowing full well that he had nothing to do with it. After facing backlash on his comments, once his lies were caught, he offered a half-hearted apology, with no explanation on why he had decided to lie about it.

The Canadian Defence Minister openly lied and took credit for something he had nothing to do with, and then didn’t give any explanation to explain his actions. The Liberal Government is also giving him a free pass by not holding him accountable for this lie. The Canadian people deserve to know why Sajjan thought it would be a good idea to make bold claims, which were likely to get caught anyway.

The Liberal Government believes that Sajjan has apologized and that should be the end of the matter, because as a grownup he knew that he made a mistake and owned up to it. However, that is not what the Defence Minister of Canada should be getting involved with. His main priority should be to deal with foreign threats, not to make wild claims about things that he had no hand it.

There is no doubt about the fact that Sajjan has embarrassed Canadians with his outrageously lies, and many believe that the only reason he apologized was because he got caught red-handed. If no one had raised concern about his claim to be the ‘architect’ of Operation Medusa then he would still be lying about it, which is why his apology means nothing.

On top of that the Liberal government is trying to sweep this matter under the rug, because they don’t want to know the truth, and definitely don’t want to hold Harjit Sajjan accountable.
