Trump’s Border Patrol agents had a fabulous holiday weekend. According to reports, agents nabbed over a dozen fugitives creeping along the border and seized an impressive quantity of illicit narcotics.

According to an official press release: “On Saturday, July 1, at approximately 10 a.m., at the San Ysidro port of entry, a CBP officer conducting inspections encountered a 57-year-old male Mexican citizen…The CBP officer observed inconsistencies in the man’s story and referred him for a more intensive inspection. During the inspection, CBP officers discovered 34 pounds of cocaine hidden in the vehicles transmission. The cocaine has an estimated street value of $509,000.”

The thug was transporting over a half a million dollars worth of drugs. That’s the type of man who freely entered the U.S. during the Obama administration. He was so lax regarding border security that criminals and fugitives routinely flouted the law.

President Trump has breathed new life into Border Patrol. Agents once again feel empowered to do their jobs.

“U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers working at the ports of entry along the California border with Mexico over the weekend intercepted 700 pounds of narcotics valued at more than $5.2 million…From Friday, June 30, through Sunday, July 2, CBP officers intercepted more than 300 pounds of methamphetamine, 223 pounds of cocaine, 22 pounds of Fentanyl, 77 pounds of marijuana and more than 45 pounds of heroin,” the press release states.
