A Syrian family in British Columbia lives in a house that costs the family $2500 per month, and their monthly income is a total of $4700.
The family receives $1200 from the B.C. Income Assistance and they receives the federal Child Tax Benefit of about $3,500 a month.
The family was part of the 33,000 Syrians rushed to Canada after Justin Trudeau won the election.
