Quebec politicians have joined British Columbia in the fight against Kinder Morgan.
Side note: This year Quebec will receive $11 Billion equalization payment from Alberta.
Justin Trudeau is to meet with Rachel Notley and John Horgan to discuss how Kinder Morgan should proceed on Sunday.
But Jean-Marc Fournier and Philippe Couillard from Quebec wrote a letter to the Prime Minister not to override John Horgan’s decision to shut down the pipeline.

“The recent assertions of federal representatives regarding the Trans Mountain pipeline, which refer to an exclusive application of federal rules, are detrimental to a proper resolution of this issue and raise concerns for the future,” he wrote.
