Vancouver Mayor Gregor Robertson went nuts.
Robertson said the Kinder Morgan pipeline will not go through, protests against it will continue to intensify.
“I don’t think this project will go — I really don’t — based on the resistance on the ground,” he told reporters today in New York.
“I don’t think the resistance on the west coast is going to fade — I think it will only intensify,” he said. “Escalation looks likely.”
Kinder Morgan threatened to pull the plug if no deal is made by May 31, and so far there is none.
The only thing the Trudeau government has done is put a $10B bailout on the table, this is a good option because otherwise the deal will never go through. Trudeau secretly doesn’t want it to go through as he continues to “accidentally” say oil sands needs to be phased out.
