On June 22, late Sunday night, 29-year-old Faisal Hussain killed two people in the busy Toronto’s Danforth Avenue.
While most politicians made announcements via media and Twitter, PM Justin Trudeau takes two personal days in a row, July 23 and 24, Monday and Tuesday, usually work days.
Trudeau’s staff posted a condolence message to Twitter.
My thoughts are with everyone affected by the terrible tragedy on the Danforth last night in Toronto, and may the injured make a full recovery. The people of Toronto are strong, resilient and brave – and we’ll be there to support you through this difficult time.

This is the only thing Justin Trudeau has announced since the tragic event late Sunday night that caused the lives of two people.
