Trudeau Gives Saudi Arabia Free Pass On Carbon Tax

Canada buys 80,000 barrels of oil per day from Saudi Arabia, but they don’t have to pay the carbon tax imposed on Canadian oil producers, already in affect in Alberta and soon to be in affect on all of Canada if Justin Trudeau has his say, on January 1, 2019.

The Saudis get a free pass, after Saudi Arabia cut new trade ties with Canada a week ago, they said oil imports won’t be affected, but of course not, because this would be a big blow to the Saudis.

The prime minister bowed to their demands and stepped back, said he will not retaliate.
