All the Winners of the Creative Arts Emmys 2021!

The Primetime Emmys are next Sunday, but the festivities have already started with the Creative Arts Emmys awards.

The Creative Arts Emmys, honoring outstanding artistic and technical achievements on television shows were held on Saturday and Sunday and there were well-deserved awards, though not many surprises.

The show of Netflix made by Anya Taylor-Joy, The Queen’s Gambit was the top winner with nine awards, The Mandalorian, the series of Disney+ which became one of the most important shows with 24 nominations, tied with the popular comedy show Saturday Night Live with seven awards. The other big surprise of the night was given by the series Love, Death + Robots, as he managed to win 6 awards. And even though The Crown It was also one of the most awarded shows by receiving 24 nominations, it only managed to take 4 statuettes, the same number that reached the most recent season of Rupaul’s Drag Race.

The most recent edition of the Emmys also let us see the weight of streaming platforms and how who wins the prizes is changing. HBO, recognized chain that used to sweep the television awards, this year only took 10 awards, while the different proposals of Netflix made the streaming giant take 34 awards. Disney, even with the few titles that he presented in the competition, he managed to win 13 figurines thanks surprises like WandaVision, that swept the production and music categories.
