In ‘Living the Dream’, an episode written by David E. Kelley and directed by Jean-Marc Vallée, hoping to put himself in Renata’s shoes (Laura Dern), Madeline (Reese Witherspoon) organizes a trip to compete with the party birthday of Amabella (Ivy George).
After another discussion, Celeste (Nicole Kidman) succumbs to the charms of Perry (Alexander Skarsgård) before her first session with Dr. Amanda Reisman (Robin Weigert).
They also call Madeline for a meeting with Abigail’s Guidance Counselor (Kathryn Newton) and Principal Nippal (PJ Byrne) announces the Fall Gala fundraiser.
Later, Jane (Shailene Woodley) enlists Madeline for help with Ziggy’s (Iain Armitage) family tree project and talks about her past.
Jane confesses to Madeline that Ziggy was the result of rape
Ziggy she gets very angry with her mother because she doesn’t want to put her father’s name on the family tree that they have to do for school. When the child leaves, Jane ends up recognizing Madeline that her son was the result of rape. “I tried to resist, but he was much stronger than me and in the end I stopped resisting because I was afraid he would kill me”, account.
