More than five years before debuting in the MCU as Cap, Chris Evans gave life to another renowned Marvel superhero: Johnny Storm, also known as Human Torch.

Evans played this member of Fantastic 4, comic created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1961, in the two films produced by 20th Century Fox: Fantastic 4 (2005) and Fantastic Four and Silver Surfer (2007).

#2 Nick Gant

Captain America and the Human Torch aren’t the only superheroes Evans has played in the movies. On Push (2009), gave life to Nick Gant, a young man with the power of telekinesis who teams up with other boys with superhuman abilities to stop a government agency that wants to create an army of super soldiers.

The story of Push It is born from a comic book miniseries published by WildStorm, a publisher of DC Comics, which mainly serve as a prequel to the film.

# 3 Lucas Lee

In 2010, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, A film based on the Canadian graphic novel of the same name, it featured Chris Evans as Hollywood skateboarder and actor Lucas Lee, who is listed as Ramona Flowers’ second ex-boyfriend and Scott Pilgrim’s big opponent.

Two years after first playing Captain America, Chris Evans starred in The Express of Fear, film based on the French graphic novel The Transperceneige, which tells us about the action that takes place inside the Snowpiercer, a train that saved humans after a climatic catastrophe.

In this film directed by Oscar winner Bong Joon-ho (director of Parasites), Evans plays Curtis Everett one of the train’s lower-class passengers who leads a group of rebels who try to rebel against the elite.
