Top 10 Forbes China Philanthropic Entrepreneurs

In July, the ranking of philanthropic entrepreneurs was published in Forbes China, revealing that Xu Jiayin, chairman of real estate giant Evergrande Group, once again topped the Forbes China philanthropic ranking for the fifth consecutive year.

Created in 2006, this ranking brings together the names of the bosses with the most donations for Forbes China. This year, among the 100 named entrepreneurs, total donations reached 17.91 billion yuan (2.18 billion euros), down 6.6% from the previous year, when 19.17 billion of yuan (2.33 billion euros) had been donated.

The threshold for entry into the philanthropic ranking has also been lowered from 18 million (2.19 million euros) to 10 million yuan (1.21 million euros) this year.

Among all entrepreneurs on the philanthropic list, real estate developers account for 39.7% with 7.11 billion yuan donated (865 million euros), and about 35.5% of cash donations were injected into the sector. education.
