New Xbox costs 500 euros and will be released on November 10 – News

Microsoft has announced the prices and launch date of its new Xbox consoles. Top model Xbox Series X costs 500 euros, the smaller Xbox Series S gets a price tag of 300 euros. Both consoles will be released on November 10.

The black Xbox Series X is considered the true next-gen game console from Microsoft. The device offers the better graphics (with even 8K output) and also gets more storage and working memory, namely 1 TB SSD and 16 GB RAM. The white and more compact Xbox Series S will be able to handle the same games, but mainly takes a step back graphically with a resolution of 1.440p. The SSD has a capacity of 512 GB, while there is 10 GB of RAM on board.

No disk reader

Another key difference between the Series X and S is that the latter console no longer has a disk reader. In other words, games can only be downloaded from the Microsoft Store. It is therefore good to know that the built-in storage capacity of both consoles can be expanded later with an external drive.

The new Xbox consoles can be pre-ordered from September 22.
