George Clooney and Julia Roberts are set to arrive in Australia with their families in the coming weeks to film romantic comedy Ticket to Paradise










Queensland is set to welcome Hollywood royalty – George Clooney and Julia Roberts.

The A-listers will arrive and undergo hotel quarantine in Brisbane toward the end of this month ahead of filming their new movie Ticket To Paradise in mid-November, according to The Sydney Morning Herald.

The Nespresso ambassador, 60, is set to arrive Down Under with his famed human rights lawyer wife Amal, 43, and their four-year-old twins Alexander and Ella.

Oscar winner Julia, 53, is expected to be joined in Australia with her cinematographer husband Danny Moder, and their three children, twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, 16, and Henry, 13.

The seasoned actors will lead the romantic comedy, Ticket To Paradise.

George and Julia play a divorced couple who travel to Bali to try and stop their daughter – played by Booksmart star Kaitlyn Dever – from getting married.

The shoot is scheduled for two months from mid-November, with locations on The Gold Coast and Brisbane.

According to the publication, the production team will transform The Whitsundays’ Long Island into Bali and that the stars will be transported to the locations by a fleet of luxury helicopters.

The stars’ arrival to Australia comes after a string of Hollywood productions moved Down Under as the US struggled with the Covid pandemic.

George and Julia have previously co-starred in Ocean’s Eleven, Ocean’s Twelve and Money Monster.
