The regional political balances remain the same, with an exit bonus everywhere in France.
The map of the regions of France does not change color. The right and the left still divide the same metropolitan regions after the second round of regional elections, Sunday June 27, according to an Ipsos / Sopra Steria estimate for France Télévisions. The National Rally failed to delight any region. In Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, Thierry Mariani only obtains 42.3% against Renaud Muselier (LR).

The regional political balances are not upset, with an outgoing bonus everywhere in France. The right thus retains at least six metropolitan regions: Hauts-de-France with Xavier Bertrand, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes with Laurent Wauquiez, Normandy with Hervé Morin, Pays de la Loire with Christelle Morancais, Provence-Alpes -Côte d’Azur with Renaud Muselier and the Grand Est with Jean Rottner. Estimates from Ile-de-France, currently headed by Valérie Pécresse, are not yet known.
The left saves also its five bastions: Bourgogne-Franche-Comté with Marie-Guite Dufay, Brittany with Loïg Chesnais-Girard, Center-Val de Loire with François Bonneau, New Aquitaine with Alain Rousset and Occitanie with Carole Delga. No upheaval either in Corsica, where the nationalists retain a majority with the list of the autonomist Gilles Simeoni, president of the outgoing executive council.
