A 60-year-old volunteer firefighter was killed on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, in Pornic (Loire Atlantique). Bad conditions

“The firefighter has been submerged since the start of the intervention. The current conditions at sea do not allow the teams on site to lead the clearance, ”indicated at 5.30 pm the communication service of the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service.

Portable lighting means have been provided for night clearance. Unfortunately without success.
