At the end of last week, the exhibition organizer Première Vision returned to physical events by bringing together some 190 exhibitors under the structure of the ephemeral Grand Palais. But the specialist in trade fairs linked to the upstream side of the textile industry has decided to continue playing the digital card.
Until July 9, its event dedicated to denim is held exclusively online. Major international meetings are always complex to set up, especially for a sector that brings together professionals from Italy, Turkey, Spain, Pakistan, India, Tunisia, China, Bangladesh, United Arab Emirates …
The show also kicked off the second edition of its Digital Denim Week on Monday. Thanks to its online marketplace, the organizer thus offers to discover all the proposals (trends, products, materials) blue fabric manufacturers for the fall-winter 2022/23 season.
The first edition of this digital event attracted more than 5,000 online visitors and some 1,500 people participated in the conferences.
For this second edition, Denim Première Vision’s desire is to promote exchanges between exhibitors and contractors, in particular through company profiles and dynamic product presentations, but also by increasing interactions via marketing platforms. live chats.
On the agenda side, this Digital Denim Week is also rich in discoveries, notably on July 6 at 11 a.m. and July 8 at 2 p.m., the Première Vision team’s fashion seminar presented by Manon Mangin. Two “smart talks” will also attempt to go into the details of the developments and changes that the sector has experienced over the past 18 months. Wednesday at 2:00 p.m., with “Filière Mode, et après?”, Carlo Capasa, president of the Camera nazionale della moda italiana (La Chambre de la mode Italian) and Pascal Morand, Executive President of the Federation of Haute Couture and Fashion, will question the new generation of values where health, ethics, transparency concerning the behavior of companies and the environmental impact are essential.
On July 8 at 11 a.m., Giusy Bettoni, CEO and founder of the Creativity lifestyle and sustainable structure synergy, and Sébastien Thevoux-Chabuel, director of ESG, will detail the new codes of sustainability and how they are imposed on economic players.
An approach that Fabio Adami Dalla Val, responsible for the show, analyzes as essential to structure the economic activity of the sector in the coming years.
“The period we are living in today is historic. Like any period of upheaval, it allows us to reflect on our values and to reinvent ourselves. Today, it already offers new opportunities to our industry, even if we are not yet fully aware of it and there is still identify all of them, explains the head of Denim Première Vision in a press release. We rarely have the opportunity to be faced with such defining moments, and generations previous ones have rarely been so lucky. In October, we will finally have the opportunity to meet again. We are impatient because it will certainly be a real festive and joyful moment. “
The event will indeed return in physics to Milan on October 13 and 14, 2021, at Superstudio Più. Then Denim Premiere Vision will travel to Berlin on May 17 and 18, 2022 at theArena Berlin.
