(Cristal for a feature film at Annecy in 2020, nominated for the César 2021 for best animated film). Written by the director with Sandra Tosello and Fabrice de Costil, the storyline dives into the early 20th century, centering on Fleur, a passionate and observant young girl who lives with her family in La Zone, a shanty town in the suburbs of Paris. Forced to work in a soap factory, she experiences harsh working-class working conditions. Clumsily manifesting her revolt, she finds herself on the street. By chance, she meets a wealthy cabaret owner who guesses her talent as a singer and lyricist. She then tastes the Paris of the Belle Époque, but faced with the repression that falls on the Zone and her family, she has to choose: to become a star of the song or to defend her family. Intended for family audiences, this 2D film will be piloted in production by Henry Magallon and Claire La Combe for Maybe Movies.
