Kubica on track with the Prema Orlen team for WEC Lmp2

The Polish driver will be part of the team from Veneto together with Lorenzo Colombo and Louis Delétraz. The Prema team will participate in the championship thanks to the thriving collaboration with Iron Lynx who, in this competition, will also field Iron Dames

Iron Lynx does not stop: the Venetian team will participate for the first time in the Endurance Lmp2 showing off, at the helm of the Oreca 05, a trio of race composed of Robert Kubica, Lorenzo Colombo and Louis Delétraz. Iron Dames, the women’s team, instead fielded Swiss Rahel Frey to push the accelerator of the # 85.

For the Polish F1 Kubica this is a welcome return: “I am happy to join the Prema Orlen Iron Lynx team. I have already raced with them in the Formula 3 Euro Series 2003. I know the Rosin family and some key people back then, and even though it’s been a long time, we all know that the team is extremely competitive. It’s a new challenge for the team and also for me as last year I only raced in three Fia Wec events, Le Mans and in Bahrain. I’m happy to work with Louis, whom I know from Elms and Le Mans last year, and Lorenzo. I am looking forward to this challenge which will require a lot of work and dedication. We hope to start the season strong, without major problems. a lot to focus on in front of us and I can’t wait for the season to start. “

And also the 2000 Lombard Lorenzo Colombo is pounding with the desire to start this new race which for him, F3 driver, will be an initiation into the world of the greats and an opportunity for growth to be exploited: “I am happy to join the highest level of races in terms of endurance championships with the Prema Orlen Team. I have many new things to learn but I am confident about the team and teammates: I am sure they will help me extract everything I have and become more professional as a racing driver . I simply can’t wait to get started and give it my all to achieve results that are important to everyone. “

For the GT class, the Iron Lynx team will field Claudio Schiavoni at the wheel of car # 60. For the Iron Dames instead to the Swiss Rahel Frey the honor and honor of driving the # 85, a pink Ferrari 488 GTE Evo. Participation in such a renowned championship is yet another step forward for the Iron Dames, an all-female crew, which took its first steps about 4 years ago thanks to the Iron Lynx Racing Team and the passion and disruptive desire of Deborah Mayer , driver of the Ferrari Challenge, of the Ferrari XX program and of the GT Competitions. Further information on the riders taking to the track in the WEC championship, which begins with a prologue on March 12/13 at the Sebring track, will be leaked in the coming weeks via the Iron Lynx and Iron Dames social channels. The starting grid is hot: only the last details to polish are missing.
